About Me

My  name  is  Alex—thanks  for  being  here. 

I   have  many  passions—cooking,  traveling,  writing—but  they  all  boil  down  to  one  thing:  storytelling.  My  purpose  in  life  is  to  help  others  connect.  To  spread  joy  and  light  through  our  world,  and  inspire  others  to  do  the  same.  Sharing  stories  is  the  greatest  tool  for  human  connection.

I  currently  work  full-time  for  my  family  ice  cream  empire,  Andia’s  Ice  Cream,  as  Creative  Director.  Though  being  a  part  of  the  family  business  is  a  true  honor  and  joy,  I  am  ready  to  take  the  next  step  in  my  career  and  life,  and  am  searching  for  a  marketing  job  in  Europe.  

Other  things  you  should  know  about  me:

Food  and  wine  are  two  my  greatest  joys  in  life.  I graduated from the Culinary Institute of America, after completing their  Accelerated Culinary Arts Certificate Program in Napa, California.  Since  then,  I’ve  successfully  earned  my  certification  in  Levels  1  and  2  in  Wine  through  the  Wine  and  Spirit  Education  Trust.  I  am  constantly  looking  to  expand  my  knowledge  in  craft  in  the  food  and  beverage  industry.  

I am also a proud graduate of Elon University, where I earned my BSBA with a major in Marketing and a minor in Leadership Studies.

I  am  a  gemini  sun,  scorpio  moon,  and  libra  rising.

I  believe  mindfulness  and  meditation  are  the  key  to  world  peace.
