eat drink write follows Ollie as he leaves his life behind to chase his dream of writing a food travel book, embarking on a three-month journey through Paris, Sardinia, and Athens. But along the way, he uncorks more than just good wine—discovering new flavors, unexpected love, and what it really means to follow your heart.
We the gays deserve to have cutie little romcoms too! There is more and more queer art coming into the world, and for that I am so grateful. But I can't help but feel so much of it is heavy. It focuses on the heartbreak of queerness--which is beautiful and important, and I have plans to one day explore that part of gay love too. But for now, I want to have fun. There is nothing that shines brighter in this world than queer joy, and I want to have a movie that highlights that.
I grew up on romcoms. Notting Hill, How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Bridget Jones Diary. These are on constant repeat in my household. But love is love--I want there to be a classic romcom that shows all kinds of love. And I'm so excited to be creating it.
I am currently seeking representation to help me bring eat drink write to life! I truly believe in the positive impact a story like Ollie's can bring to the world, and look forward to the day when I can update this paragraph to say it is in the process of coming to life.
